One of the existing temple in Bedugul also become a tourist attraction every holiday to Bali.

	Nyepi Day, a silence day to mark Balinese New Year Balinese Hindu uses two-calender system. One is Pawukon system, a 210-day cycle that divided into ten separate week system. The other one is Saka Calendar, a lunar calendar that originally from South India and brought to Indonesia around 465 AD. One Saka year has 12 month and each month ends on a new moon. The Saka Year is 78 years behind the Gregorian calendar. The calendar begins on the first day of the 10th lunar month or ends on the new moon of 9th month. It usually falls on March or April on Gregorian Calendar. To mark the New Saka Year, Balinese celebrates a Nyepi Day.

	i would recommend getting a driver to drive you around for a day tour. We had a excelelnt driver that took us anywhere we wanted to go and he was a good price too. As for going out at night time me and hubby go out and we dont have any trouble but we usually stay central to kuta and get taxis around as well. 	Just returned form Bali after a 12 day stay in Sanur with my Girlfriend. Third trip in 5 years, what’s not to love about the place…. The people, the weather, the smell, Bintang the whole Bali experience…. wish I was still there instead of being held captive in this 10′C wet Adelaide Weather. Anyhoo…. looking forward to the next trip! Although I very rarely post I have been surfing the ‘Bali Forum’s’ regularly!! Before I left I came across “Elvy’s” as a Driver through the forum, e-mailed him two weeks prior. he got back to me that evening and on and off leading up to out departure date… even through e-mail you could tell he was a character. The second day in Bali (stayed at the Bali Hyatt Sanur), I called him. He picked us up the next morning and off we went in his Red Van. He only charges 300000rp for the whole day (we gave him more because he looked after us so well), wicked airconed van that sticks out from all the other vans so we knew that he was never far away, got us good deals and best of all was the best bloke with a funny sense of humour!! It would not have been the same trip with out him! We used him for 3 full day tours and 2 half day tours, knows the best and cheapest places to shop, the best places to go, carried anything we kneaded including cameras.
